The lessons included here have been taken from the books in the G.R.O.W. Series™ Each lesson is complete with clear instructions and all the sentences and / or word lists necessary to use the activity in a regular classroom, although they are adaptable for small group instruction as well. The lessons are designed to motivate each student to try her best.
Every lesson targets specific language arts standards, as well as active listening skills and critical thinking skills. These activities are an effective use of instructional time and will motivate students of all ability levels and learning styles in both large and small group settings.
